NEWS AND VIEWS THAT IMPACT LIMITED CONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNMENT

power to endanger the public liberty." - - - - John Adams

Newt is your typical Right-Wing Socialist

I have stated for some time that most Republicans are simply Radical New Deal Leftists.  They are viewed as being "Conservative" only because the nation has moved far, far to the left from FDR.  Former GOP House Speaker Newt Gingrich showed his true colors.

Newt appeared on NBC Meet the Press  attacking Paul Ryan's spending cuts:
"I would be against a conservative proposing radical change."
GINGRICH: We ought to have some requirement that you either have health insurance or you post a bond...

GREGORY: But that is the individual mandate is it not?

GINGRICH: It's a variation of it.

Looks like a full blooded backing of the Big Brother Socialist state to me.

Thanks so much. I first heard the term Right-Wing Socialist from Pamela Brown, the California Libertarian candidate for Lt. Governor in 2010.

It fits. Conservatives are pro-business, pro-life, pro-gun, pro-Marxist re-distribution of wealth and pro-centralized nanny state. In other words, Republicans are not any different from European right of center parties.

Yes, Gary. The tea party is different and many in the grassroots of the conservative movement. Leadership, though, in the GOP isn't much different than the Democrats - statists of a different stripe.
