Overreach of the Obama administration and the
EPA will cause a massive electoral shift in WV

Amanda Pasdon, a West Virginia state delegate who has been named a GOP "rising star,'' says control of the Mountain State's House of Representatives is within reach of Republican lawmakers for the first time in 80 years.

"Out of 100 members we currently have 47 elected. So we are right here on the cusp of taking control of the House,'' Pasdon said Friday on "The Steve Malzberg Show'' on Newsmax TV.
.

"We've seen a wave of Republican pickups in the last two election cycles and we feel strongly that that wave will continue into 2014.

"You take control of the state House and we begin to take back the country,'' reports Newsmax.

"[It] is what has really driven the change in West Virginia. The overreach of the Obama administration and the EPA has certainly been devastating to our economy, devastating to West Virginia,'' Pasdon said.

"We are a natural resource state with coal and natural gas. That's what we offer the world and the overreach of this administration has really put a strain on our economy.

"Truly, if you take a step back and look at it, Barack Obama has been the best thing that could have happened to the GOP in West Virginia."

A 53-47 Split
The GOP has made major gains against anti-energy Leftist Democrats in the West Virginia state legislature.  In 2000 the Democrats dominated the lower house 75 seats to 25.  Today the pro-energy development Republican Party has reached 47 seats and are hoping to gain control of the lower House.
