53% Think Neither Political Party Represents the American People

The American Sheeple Have Spoken
The Sheeple were only given a choice between
two Big Government parties.

By Gary:

The GOP win will block some of Obama's insanity (and that is good!), but nothing much will really change.

A recent Rasmussen poll of voters is eye opening.  Simply, 53% of the people say neither the Democrats nor the GOP represent the American public.

Our so-called "elections" this week gave the Sheeple voters the phony choice of which pro-Big Government, pro-Big Spending, pro-Police State and pro-unlimited immigration party to select for office.

That 53% of the public instinctively understands their lack of choice.

But the dirty little secret of our elections is both Big Government parties agree with each other on 95% of the issues.

Immigration
Illegal immigration exploded from 1995 to 2007 when the "Conservative" Republican Party controlled Congress. The GOP had their chance then to seal the border and put businessmen in jail who hired illegals. But nothing was done because business wants unlimited legal and illegal immigration to drive down wages.

Democrats are only following the pro-immigration lead of their GOP partners. The Democrat goal is only slightly different  -  to import voters.  But the cheap labor they allow in also pleases the big business interests who back the Dems with mountains of cash.

Big Government
The last time the "small government" GOP cut the Federal budget was back in the Calvin Coolidge days of the 1920s. The Republicans have not cut one single dime in spending since the 1920s.

The Republicans and Democrats have locked arms to unconstitutionally and aggressively grow the power of the Federal government to enact insane regulations on every aspect of life to dictating what local schools are allowed to teach or even what to feed a child at lunch.

The real GOP platform is, "We will be the good managers of the Big Brother State."

Socialist Income Tax
The Marxist re-distribution of the wealth from the producers to the teat suckers started with a GOP Congress and President William Howard Taft when they voted for the income tax.

Nothing has changed. The GOP might nibble around the edges of the income tax to please a group or two for elections, but the heart of Marxist income redistribution is fully protected.

You will never, ever see a GOP elimination of the income tax or a flat tax.  They want your money just as much as the Democrats do. They also want to use the tax code to control your actions.

The 1984 Police State
Both Big Government loving parties are pissing on our Bill of Rights live on C-SPAN.  The unconstitutional Police State / NSA complex grows more powerful by the day with near unlimited funding from both parties.

The bi-partisan reaction to NSA whistleblowers is to put them in jail and protect the spying.

The Solution  -  Election Reform
If you are a partisan who worships every hack who has the magic "D" or "R" after their then, then you are a Sheeple who will to goosestep at the beck and call of your Washington D.C. funded Masters. There is nothing we can do to help you.

The one Big Government Party (with its two branches) does not give a crap about the people because they do not fear defeat at the polls. The voters only have a choice of Big Government parties.

Meanwhile in nations all over the world the election systems are set up to give voters multiple political party choices on election day.  For example, a few weeks ago 97,000,000 voters went to the polls in Brazil and elected 28 political parties to their Congress.

I have repeatedly blogged that countries from Israel to Japan to Australia to Britain have truly free elections with multiple parties being elected to their legislatures.

We need to open up our elections to independent candidates as well as new political parties from the Left, Right and Nationalistic.  The corrupt two-party monopoly must be cracked.

We must introduce true competition to our House of Representatives elections.  The easiest way is to add 200 additional Congressmen elected by proportional representation on a state by state basis.  If a party gets 20% of the vote that party would get about 40 seats in the House.  In one form or another this system is used all over the world. Only when the existing parties fear defeat will our issues be listened to.

The corrupt Washington D.C. based parties will never reform the system they control.  Only when the people themselves rise up and demand election reform will we start to get our Republic back.

The American Sheeple Voted
The Sheeple had a "choice" between two parties,
both of which want to screw them over on small government
and unlimited immigration.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 53% of likely U.S. Voters think it is fair to say that neither party in Congress is the party of the American people.

That’s up six points from 47% last October and matches the previous high found in June 2012 during the last national election cycle. Just 28% disagree, while 19% are not sure. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Just six percent (6%) of voters now think Congress is doing a good or excellent job. Seventy-two percent (72%) say it would be better for the country if most incumbents in Congress were defeated this November.

The survey of 1,000 Likely U.S. Voters was conducted on April 19-20, 2014 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.
