Media Censorship - US reporters ignore first journalist tour of liberated Palmyra

All the News the Sheeple
are allowed to hear

  • The Corporate Media Machine closely controls all the information you are allowed to hear.  For example, illegal alien Muslims are not invading Europe. Instead the Media tells us they are "refugees" looking for a better life.
  • In the case of Palmyra below the Media Machine refused to even send reporters to cover the story.
  • Could it be that by covering this story it might point out Russia liberating Syria from ISIS while Obama tangos in Argentina?

(RT News)  -  The Russian military have given access to journalists from 11 countries to the liberated Syrian city of Palmyra. Moscow noted the absence of American journalists in the group.
The group of 27 media professionals from Germany, Italy, Belgium, China, Serbia and other nations were transported from the Russian military base in Khmeimim to Palmyra on Thursday.
They were carried halfway across the country by Mil Mi-8 AMTSh military transport helicopters guarded by Mil Mi-35 helicopter gunships.
The journalists were taken to the historic part of the city, which was badly damaged by the Islamic State while they controlled the city. They also had a chance to speak to local residents and Russian military engineers, who are taking part in demining the city.
Noticeably absent among the group were journalist from the US, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov noted. He said that four US-based media outlets cancelled their accreditation requests on the eve of the trip, “as if they were following an order.”
Palmyra, which fell into IS hands in May 2015, was liberated by the Syrian army and pro-Damascus militias, who were given air support by Russian warplanes.
The military success was met with muted response by officials in the US and some of its allies, who, Moscow said, tried to downplay its importance.

De-mining Palmyra: Russian sappers at work

A group of Russian soldiers worked in Palmyra on Thursday, in order to clear the ancient city of mines and other explosive devices left behind by the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL), after the city was recaptured by the Syrian government forces in March.

No American Reporters
The capture of Palmyra by ISIS was a huge international story.
But the liberation of Palmyra by Russian and Syrian forces has
been virtually ignored by the Corporate Controlled Media Machine.

No American reporters even bothered to attend the press tour.
