Police imprison man for Facebook post against Islam

(Gateway Pundit)  -  The Sussex police force in the U.K. arrested a man for condemning the evil of Islam and calling it out online.

The man was “jailed for stirring up religious hatred in Facebook posts”:

A man is facing more than a year behind bars for attempting to stir up religious hatred in Sussex.
Nigel Pelham was charged with eight counts of publishing threatening written material intending to stir up religious hatred against Muslims on dates between February 24 and November 16, 2015 on his own Facebook account. The charges are not used very often and are so serious they need Attorney General approval to be brought against someone.
Pelham, 50, of Freehold Street, Shoreham appeared on March 7 at Lewes Crown Court and pleaded guilty to the offences.
On June 16 he was sentenced at Blackfriars Crown Court in London to 20 months for each of the eight counts to run concurrently. He also has to pay £100 victim surcharge and has had two hard drives and his tower computer confiscated.
