Avengers: Infinity War

A Worldwide Cultural Phenomenon

  • Who would have thought that Captain America's shield symbol alone would come to be recognized by most people on the planet Earth.

By Gary;

I said to myself, the 12:30 Sunday matinee of Avengers: Infinity War should be no problem. After all I live in a small central California mountain town.

As I roll up to the theater the word shit rolled off my tongue.  Two of the four screens were already devoted to the Avengers and there was a line extending down the block for tickets . . . on a Sunday.

It didn't help that I got one of the last tickets and was stuck in the front row. There is nothing like being that up close and personal with any movie. Never again.

And then there were the three unruly brats in my row that the parents refused to control. I wanted to use Negan's barbed wire baseball bat on the entire family.

But I digress.

With so many Marvel characters thrown into one movie I went in expecting a cluttered disaster. I was so wrong.

The Avenger's directors Anthony and Joe Russo has previously done Captain America: The Winter Soldier which ranks at #5 of the best Superhero movies. The near perfection of that film was brought over to the Avengers.

The Russos managed to weave a ridiculously large and complex series of plot lines and characters into a smooth flowing and entertaining movie. Somehow they managed to give many of the characters a fair share of screen time, character and plot development. I never thought that would be possible.

A note, No one at my sold out Sunday matinee showing left the theater at the end. We all waited through the mind-numbingly long credits in order to see the teaser at the end.

That says the audience was totally entertained which is all you can ask from movies.

A "Black Widow" Movie is Coming

It is way past time

Even though it has inexplicably taken a very long time, Marvel seems to finally be moving forward with a movie dedicated to Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow, with the studio hiring writer Jac Schaeffer to put together a script

Now a recent Hollywood Reporter story has floated the names of some female filmmakers as possible directors for the Black Widow movie, noting that Marvel Studios has met with Deniz Gamze Erguven (Mustang), Chloe Zhao (The Rider), and Amma Asante (A United Kingdom), with Variety reporter Justin Kroll adding Maggie Betts (Novitiate) and Angela Robinson (Professor Marston And The Wonder Woman) to the list as well.

None of these people have gotten the job yet, but as /Film notes, they’re all up-and-coming directors who seem well-positioned for the kind of big breakout that a Black Widow movie could be. A recent rumor claimed that Black Widow would be a pre-Iron Man 2 prequel featuring Johansson and a still-brainwashed Winter Soldier long before either of them join up with the Avengers, but that’s very much unconfirmed.

Either way, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige has already set he won’t announce any new movies until after Avengers 4, so we don’t even know if Black Widow will happen, but it’s now looking more and more likely that it really will.

Bucky to join Scarlett Johansson?

(Express)  -  The two superheroes will next in appear in Avengers Infinity War, but unlike Iron Man and Captain America they’re much more likely to stick around in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Now in a new interview with Bad Taste, Stan has revealed how he would love to team up with Johansson in her upcoming Black Widow solo movie.
He said: “Yeah, absolutely! Of course! I mean, anytime I'm ready.
“They have a very nice history in my opinion. It's very intricate.”
Stan continued: “The truth is he actually taught her in the comic books. He was a teacher to her.
“It's all set during a specific, interesting time. The Cold War. It's all a very spy thriller-ish, noir-ish story.
“It would be very interesting to explore that on film. I would love if they do that. You know, I hope. Maybe they will.”
"It's all...there's so many thing that are pressing in this film I think that, a scene between Black Widow and the Winter Soldier would be a bit far to the left.
“There are other pressing issues to deal with. But it's nice to have that there.
“It's a great opportunity that one day we might explore. It depends on how they feel.”

1984 - Scientists to abolish sex to create a Master Race

"Only racially higher peoples are creators and bearers of a high culture. Only they determine the course of events. Inferior races have no history. They lack the necessary ability, the ability to master their own fate. Only racially advanced peoples have this ability. Races that do not have the courage to make history have no history."

(World Net Daily)  -  In 20 to 40 years from now, would-be parents will be able to choose from dozens of already artificially created embryos before having a child based on their preferred criteria and potential, says a bioethicist and author of the book, “The End of Sex and the Future of Human Reproduction.”
Henry Greely, a Stanford University law professor, is the author who sees in ongoing research the future potential to choose children with less potential for future disease, more for athleticism or even a preferred eye color.
“The majority of babies of people who have good health coverage will be conceived this way,” he predicts.
The research Greely points to so far only involves mice in which ordinary cells are turned into sperm and eggs. If such technology can be replicated in humans, Greely believes, most babies would be born using it by the time today’s children are reproducing.
If so, it would mean a woman who wants to get pregnant could produce dozens more eggs without harvesting some of her own ovaries.
Here’s what Greely sees in the future: A man and woman walk into a fertility clinic. The man drops off some sperm. The woman leaves some skin cells, which are turned into eggs and fertilized with the man’s sperm. Unlike in-vitro fertilization today, which typically yields around eight eggs per attempt, the new method could result in hundreds of embryos.
In addition, the embryos’ complete library of DNA would be decoded and analyzed to reveal genetic predispositions, both for disease and personal traits. The man and woman would get dossiers on the embryos that pass minimum tests for suitability. The couple would then choose one or two to implant.
The technology might also open the door to same-sex couples having children genetically related to both of them, though the additional twist of making eggs from men or sperm from women would be a bigger biological challenge.

ZUCK YOU: Facebook blocks conservative story on FBI texts

Zuck's Fuck to You
Thought Criminals are Punished

(Daily Caller)  -  Facebook blocked users Friday from sharing a Daily Caller story on the 300 “missing” text messages between FBI Agent Peter Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page that were turned over to Congress on Thursday night.
The Daily Caller News Foundation obtained and published the text messages early Friday morning. Sometime Friday afternoon, however, Facebook began blocking users from sharing the story with their friends, warning them that the story could be spam.
The DCNF’s reporters attempted several times to post the story on Facebook after readers began complaining that Facebook wouldn’t allow them to share the story. Each time, Facebook rejected the post with a caution message.
“Our security systems have detected that a lot of people are posting the same content, which could mean that it’s spam,” Facebook told users who tried to share the story. “Please try a different post.”

FBI Officially Becomes a National Joke: Interviews Russian Fighter Trump Knew in 2008

Donald Trump and Russian fighter Fedor Emelianenko

The FBI is the New KGB

  • The FBI has become nothing more than the new Secret Police tool of Deep State Oligarchs looking to control the political class through spying and intimidation.
  • Meanwhile the Clinton Crime Family and the corrupt NSA and CIA are ignored.

(The Gateway Pundit)  -  How can the American public ever trust the FBI again after this continued sh*thole.

The FBI interviewed a Russian boxer Donald Trump knew in 2008 when Trump briefly was part-owner of Affliction Entertainment.
They must think this is Trump’s golden link to Putin.
Good grief.
This is how low the FBI has sunk.
They are losing more credibility by the day.
Yahoo reported:
A Russian mixed martial arts fighter who has connections with President Donald Trump, the president’s personal attorney Michael Cohen and Russian President Vladimir Putin was questioned this week by the FBI, his manager confirmed Saturday.
Fedor Emelianenko was questioned by agents who met him in his hotel room on Tuesday, manager Jerry Millen said before Emelianenko’s heavyweight fight against Frank Mir. Millen declined to detail his client’s conversations with the agents.
“The FBI came to the hotel looking to talk to Fedor and they were very nice, came in to speak with Fedor for a few minutes, spoke to me, very cool guys, and that’s all I can really say about it. Again, the FBI did come to the hotel, they found us, knocked on the door,” Millen said.
“Hundred percent, kind of surprised,” Millen added. “They were very nice, very professional.”
The agents were in attendance at Saturday’s fight, Millen said.
Putin has attended Emelianenko’s fights, and the 41-year-old fighter has been photographed with the Russian president. His connection with Trump dates back to 2008, when he was signed by Affliction Entertainment, a fight league in which Trump had an ownership stake. Trump announced a joint venture involving MMA and Emelianenko at a news conference on June 5, 2008.

Norse pagan soldier gets to wear a beard

Beards For All

  • Real men wear beards. Why would a man want to shave so he could look like a 12 year old boy?
  • But even in this article the army insults a religion calling them heathens.

(Army Times)  -  When the Army authorized beards for religious soldiers in early 2017, the move was a response to years of requests — and a lawsuit — from Sikh soldiers seeking to both serve and adhere to the tenets of their faith.

But the directive, technically, applied to all religions.

And that includes Norse pagans, also known as heathens, according to an undated memo from the 14th Military Police Brigade at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.

“I grant your accommodation, subject to the standards and limitations described below,” commander Col. Curtis Shroeder wrote to a 795th Military Police Battalion soldier, whose name is redacted from a copy of the memo circulating on Facebook.

“In observance of your Heathen; Norse Pagan faith, you may wear a beard, in accordance with Army uniform and grooming standards for soldiers with approved religious accommodations.”

Per the latest version of AR 670-1, beards with approved accommodations must be less than 2 inches long, measured from the bottom of the chin, and cannot be groomed with any petroleum-based products.

Worshiping Thor should be respected by our military.

Loki was not the only Norse God involved in mischief.

On a Serious Note
It is not up to the army to dictate religious faith or facial hair for that matter. Some of our greatest warriors, U.S. Grant and Robert E. Lee, wore beards.
